What a dreamscape.. and not a bad sunset spot! The 1930s stone shelter overlooking the ocean felt like something out of a storybook. Or perhaps Skyrim 😁

As I left Cape Cove Beach driveling to my campsite further down the highway I saw a small winding road heading up the mountain behind me. I am so very glad I followed my curiosity and was rewarded with this stunning view 😌

This is also probably one of my photos I've spent the longest time editing, down to the last pixel, trying to perfect the feeling (and avoid those annoying HDR halos!). Very happy with the result!

2. The wondrous and serenely meditative feeling one gets standing on the beach at Cape Perpetua, both witnessing and experiencing the sacred liminal zone where ocean meets land, fog feeds ancient trees, and water reflects whatever you wish to see.
